Yeah, I went through this at my son's high school. He asked his white history teacher, Why February has come and gone, why we didn't learn anything for black history month? They suspended my son for making a discriminating remark. He was suspended, until I came to pick him up. I asked them to explain what they considered discriminating about the question. Everybody standing there with the Duh looks on their face. What's discriminating is this white man you have teaching history, to classroom filled with black children and he choses not to teach anything in the month of February about black history? What do we consider that to be? Discriminating or racist? My son went to his next class, with no suspension

I’m so sorry that the school just proved the facts of what this young man said. A white student would not have been kicked out of school for stating an obvious truth. This is ridiculous and the fam should look into a legal solution for this obvious discrimination. I’m an 81 yr old yt woman and I can see this. Why is he suspended for telling the truth? Appeal this suspension, call th we principal and whoever supervise them. Take it up to the school district superintendent onto the board of education if necessary. This is not hate speech, nor is it disrespectful. Is there something else that could cause this suspension?
