In Minnesota, you are supposed to do everything you can to escape, such as diving out a window naked with your kids so the people can come in to sit down and watch your TV and take your wife's tampons before EVEN thinking of trying to defend yourself and family or you would be the one going to Jail instead of the people who endangered you and your family's life. this is not the first time a homeowner caught masked men breaking into homes with the owners in the house one instance a homeowner shot and killed three men kicking in the door and the homeowner got into a gun fight and well the homeowner was a better shot than the thugs and he killed all three including 15 and 16 year old brothers and there mother wants the homeowner arrested and charged with murder but I hope they arrest her for allowing them to be out committing felonies since they were minors
