We were in a Toy's are Us like 36 years ago. A boy went missing, they locked down the store checking every individual before letting them out. Me and my two kids were out when we heard mega sirens with cops and fire department. They caught a couple who had snatched the kid, dyed and cut his hair and changed his cloths. The kid looked under a year old. Child abductions have been happening forever. Keep your babies close and pay close attention to everything.
my 2 yr old wandered away from me at a JC Penny's many years ago. The manager called a "code Adam" over the intercom and locked down the entire store. 50 people searched that store for 20 solid minutes! They found my 'darling stinker" underneath a 20ft tall statue of Big Bird! He had climbed part way up the statue's frame and was sitting there giggling! I could've killed him! This could've ended so much worse! It only took a split second of me being inattentive for him to dive under that Big Bird. I am now a staunch supporter of harnesses for toddlers.. 💕

I had twins when I already had a 3 year old son. I put leashes in them. Some people made fun of me. I didn’t care. I wanted to be a responsible parent & keep up with 3 kids. Back then we didn’t have grocery delivery.
I would have sent it to a PI to see what they can do. There has to be some way to track the person monitoring it. If it were me, I'd probably attach it to my glock, so whoever comes looking for the baby finds what they actually earned. 👍

What was on the car seat?
Many, many years ago when my now 29 yr was only 6 or 7 years old, I took a friend of his and him with me to the next town over (about 2 miles away). I had to pick up medicine at the pharmacy and said to both boys, DO NOT GET out of the car! I will be back in a few minutes! All I have to do is get my prescriptions. I'll be RIGHT back! I had told them both that when we were done, we would go and get an ice cream cone from McDonald's.

If they bought the car seat at Target, for argument sake, some person opened the Box and made it look like they were just looking to buy it. They placed the air tag with a color tape that looked like it belonged there. Now this couple decided to buy it and when the bundle of joy was born and brought home in the car seat 💺. Whoever placed the air tag now knows the seat was bought and is being used by a child. They know where you live and maybe now they are watching you. Waiting for the right moment when they will try to take your child. Newborns are worth up to one hundred thousand dollars. Again for argument sake, this is the way of the wicked world we live in. You have to be vigilant with your children or risk never seeing them again!
I had a telephone cord, looking strap, that connected me & our wrists together with velcro. it worked. This was back in 1976. Lots of mom's had them!

My daughter did the same thing 32 years ago at the mall in Agana, Guam where we were stationed! I was with some of my elementary school students who spread out in the store and helped me find hera! OMG- what an exp erience!!!!

My now adult son was about six years old and we were at Walmart and he had to go to the bathroom. So my husban,daughter and I waited outside of the bathroom waiting for him. He wasn't in there long enough to pee and he comes screaming out of the bathroom saying there's an old man in there and asked my son to unzip his pants for him. That's when my son came screaming out. My husband is huge and he went into that bathroom and came back out dragging the guy and told me to get someone to get a loss prevention officer to call the police. My husband held on to him until the police got there. The entire time he was pleading to be let go and that he was sorry and would never do it again. But when the police got there they arrested the man and said it wasn't the first time this perv had tried this. In fact it wasn't even the first time doing this at Walmart.
I would notified the store where I bought car seat and report it yo the cops and hopefully the store would check the other car seats

I was living in Hawaii and used a harness on my little girl. she had a tendency to hide amugnst the clothes racks. we were able to get a harness at the base exchange. people would give me awful parent looks my comment was at least she stays beside me and doesn't run off.
There are trackers smaller than even nano-disc chips. (Slipped into moving boxes)

Just recently in Northern Va at FairOaks mall, a toddler wondered away from his mother, and a man swiped the child (it was all on camera) he took off and was on the 2nd floor,it happened on the 1st floor- he was trying to cut thru a store to leave with child when the mom and dad saw him and he put kid down and took off! He was caught a few miles away in a hotel room and he had stole the car he used as well!! Those parents are so lucky they got the child in time-if he had gotten out the doors with him-omg who knows what could of happened!! The parents werent watching their child, thats terrible !!!
