I don't believe reparations would help anyone other than the elites. Why? Because it's no different than free money given to us through stimulus packages. We get the money & then that money eventually makes its way back into the government's & the Elite's pockets unless you invest it. How? Taxes when spending the money. Businesses when buying crap you don't need ultimately go to the Elites. If there are to be reparations, it is my belief it should be done in a way that helps the potential future of the Black communities. Education, housing, mental health treatment & rehabs if needed, daycare, jobs, & anything that would help them have a chance at building a better future to grow their own wealth so future generations prosper from it as well. Past trauma can create a cycle of brokenness and pain that affects future generations, impacting their lives and choices. That needs to be fixed.

well I do agree it's crazy for the government (descendents of the past generations) to pay for the past. I would hesitate to stand up for them. Slavery is different not abolished now the slave owners aren't farming crops or live stock. They now they are farming people. The 1 percent control wealth you and can't spend in a 1000 lifetimes they pay us just enough to get by with maybe a few luxuries. While they run the country.
