Its rapid, you can tell by the consistent stretching of his jaw. he's experiencing lockjaw. It was looking for help, but you need to realize somwthing here. Its already dead. That lockjaw is a sure sign of the rabies being too far gone to save the creature. Best thing to do in a more urban setting is to call animal control or the police. If youre in a rural are like this? We'll, we just gonna save the poor thing from its pain. There is literally absolutely no reason to approach this WILD and very dangerous animal in this condition. Don't become a Darwin award.

it's just yarring is what coyotes do !! it's sees it's reflected or a cat or human they just look scary if the come at you then they are considered rabid!!
Why didn’t he just put the animal down ! I really hope that he did , because living out in the rural community I’m sure he owns a firearm. Also he should clean the glass because rabies can still be found in saliva hours after it becomes airborne.

It could be anything my cat had a big thorn on the back of his tongue and he couldn’t get it out. His tongue was all pulled to the back. Look at this video again and you’ll see his tongue is in the back of his mouth. I’m not saying it’s that but you never know it just might need help and there might not be anything vicious about him. he’s just asking for help. Can somebody help him and they’ll decide if he needs to be put down or not?
