WOW!!! I can’t believe this mother, and I’m using that term loosely in her case! My oldest daughter was five years old when we walked out of Publix and as I’m putting the groceries in the car, she pulls out a pack of gum from her pocket. I confronted her and told her she is going to go back and tell the store manager what she did. We walked in. I took her to the store manager, she told him what she had done and in tears apologized. He handled it very well. He pulled out a little gold badge That said …honor. He gave it to her and told her to always remember that doing the right thing, even though it’s hard sometimes, is of great honor. It was never a problem after that!

My daughter, now 34, did the same thing as a little girl. I took her back to the store and found a manager and told her to give that man what belongs to him! She took that candy bar back to him. The security guy was standing there also! He took his handcuffs out and told her, "You know, these will fit you also!" She immediately started crying. I never had to worry about her stealing anything else!
