Why do we give money to private companies to do research? They come up with a product and sell at outrageous prices but have you ever heard of a pharmaceutical company paying back the money they were given to do their research, I never have so why is a private for profit company giving free money that they don’t have to pay back. My hats off to pharmaceutical companies who have found the most profitable way to succeed. What other kind of company gets free money to cover there bottom line. If a company is using tax payers money to fund their research their product should be FREE they have NO financial investment but make all the profits
