its is so old, but the future of how weak the army is becoming. so glad I did my time and retired to avoid this shit show
we used to do 3 hikes before deployment. 12 mile, 15 mile and last was 24mile. we had in excess of 100 lbs of gear including any TE weapons we might have to carry. of course when i went into the Marines in Nov of 93. we had to do 20 deadhang pullups, 80 situps in 2 minuets and run 3 miles in under 18 minutes. The standards have fallen way off. i seen a video the other day of a fat Marine Drill Instructor. That pisses me off bad.
SHE knows the GOLDEN RULE, DO not Quit!! and DO It!!
God bless her that what we need in our military strength and determination

70 lbs, wow...when I received my Expert Infantryman's badge in 1994, we only had to carry 22 lbs.12 miles

She may have “made it” but if it was a troop movement on a battlefield field she wouldn’t be able to do a damn thing because when the movement is done it’s time to close with and destroy the enemy
Ruck marches suck anyway, but that one and the EIB march really suck.
