As a retired RN, when the hospital ordered the suicide watch (probably because of cost) removed, the nurses, as the advocates for Sarah, could refuse to the order. The watch was a ordered from the doctors. The responsibility fell to the nurses, they failed to protect and care for Sarah.
It falls on the nurses because the doctor ordered a 24 hours watch and they failed to do it. Bless her little heart 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾for her mother and father 😞😞😞 and all of her family
This is very sad. Such a sweet looking young lady. Unfortunately, if they want to take their own lives, they will succeed eventually. You can't watch them all the time forever. May she rest in the loving arms of our Lord Jesus Christ, and may God watch over her family.
The nurses was responsible for her. death, they should never have left her alone. They are the ones that's wrong, and they are the ones that needs to pay the ones that took the cameras and the security away from her, they knew what they was doing to be nurses. They should have known
None of this even sounds right. When i was her age i was in the same position. Locked up impatient for depression and trying to commit suicide. The fact that she made it to the 4th floor parking lot and jumped is off. impatient facilities are locked. The unit itself is locked. Truly for mom i pray all is revealed to her about this. As it doesnt appear to be the truth.
the hospital should be held accountable it is insane how these days nurses and doctors are so u caring for people especially since the covid they are just rude and downright hateful and don't that take some kind of vow or oath to be kind and patient and genuinely care for others here is the thing if they were caring for this child like they cared bout their selves this would have never happened WOW! that is unreal and you can look at her pictures and tell she could have had a turn around and a bright future she has her whole life ahead of her I know plenty of teens that struggle and than turn around and take over the world and leave positive impacts on this world unfortunately she will never even get that opportunity

Nurses, fired and jailed, doctor sued along with the facility. 😭😭😭😭
The doctors and the nurses should be charged, why? Because the nurses takes ofers from the doctors, but the doctors will do what the nurses suggests, why? Because the nurses are always with the patient and they know the condition and care the patient needs
I think only the ones on duty at the time of the incident 🤔

So sad hospital responsible could have been prevented what was the point Turnjng off cameras and leaving g her alone to walk to her death .
She never should have been left alone at all. It’s heartbreaking that she lost her life due to personal not doing there jobs. Leaving her unattended is what killed her.

The hospital is responsible because working in these kind of situations you are to supply that 24hr one on one person and camera should’ve never been turned off coming from that Background. I know that she should’ve never been unsupervised.
If you are on Psych watch as a nurse, you can not leave for any reason without being relieved of duty. For this reason. The hospital was at fault.

Who was the Chief Resident of Psychiatry in charge who prescribed the “severe suicide risk watch” to be withdrawn? Or did the DOCTOR order the watch to be withdrawn? Who did these seemingly qualified Nurses get the order from bc apparently the parents of this lil girl were satisfied w/her care for months on til end, soooo something changed something happened for these ppl to change horses in the middle of the stream Someone saw dollar signs somewhere in the scheme of things and deliberately and carefully plotted this chain of events who knows maybe the Psycharist planted the seeds in the minds of the parents maybe someone planted the idea into the mind of the baby maybe certain staff members were in on the plot to reduce the financial burden that the baby’s care was inflicting upon the family(I know that there’s a lot of if’s nd maybe’s)but something happened for those in charge of her care to dismiss that watch order unfortunately ppl do anything for money Jesus take the wheel 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

It is the hospitals fault. The nurses too this is very sad. How often does this happen because of proper training and just not caring
The mental illness was responsible.
The charge nurse is the one who makes the calls and if the hospital wasn’t equipped this young lady should have been transferred to a facility where she could have received proper supervision and mental health care. My condolences to her family 💔
