In my opinion, if you choose that lifestyle then it’s your duty to be honest at the door. Especially if the other person is not living that lifestyle. It’s conniving and deceitful and manipulative. It goes for any relationship no matter what it looks like. Honesty first…. That being said this is not ok and by no means necessary. Both are wrong.

I'd feel peed off if I began having feelings for a guy, and it turned out to be a girl. I would feel violated. That's almost like rape. I feel that to decieve someone emotionally and sexually is criminal.
Everybody defending the trans person as if they did nothing wrong is crazy. Nobody deserves what happened to them but at the same time lying about that type of thing is just as bad. That’s taking away the other persons ability to consent which I think should be a rape charge because that person who is lied to has no idea thus their rights are being violated too especially if a person has specific religious beliefs or whatever it may be. Lying about this kind of thing is wrong on every level. People can say what they want but it’s violating the rights of others to lie about something as serious as this. I do feel bad for the person who went through this but they were very wrong at the same time but didn’t deserve their rights being violated in the same way the person being lied to doesn’t deserve that.

I agree with what seems to be a general consensus. You have the duty to tell anyone you might meet and have a relationship with, the truth. They deserve the chance to make that choice for themselves.
