that wasn't 99 cheeseburgers. that was actually 99 quarter pounders with cheese. and the team I work with would have respectfully told them to come back the next day and to call in advance to give the team enough time to make sure that we had the supplies to make that much to make that order.
Decline order if it's 1-2 hours before closing... workers don't deserve dat chit.....
They should have refused the order. Cruel management. Clock out and go home and kell the manager that he can make them. It's not worth it!
I worked at McDonald's. 99 hamburgers will take 20 minutes. geeze!😲🤔😆
On large grills like McDonald's uses it doesn't take very long to make 99 hamburgers. Surely not two hours.
having worked at McDonald's in my youth, I know that it doesn't take 2 hours to make 99 burgers. Even if he were the only cook on duty.
he should be happy with the overtime
Not a dedicated employee
Been there, done that. Didn't do 99 but 55 in 15 mins with 3 people. Yes everything was fresh off the grill. If u have the right manager & crew it's easy.
I would explain that an order that large well need to be paid before they would start cooking!
Stay and work. Think cha ching make money
It was probably someone get food for homeless.
I would get the money up front make sure it wasn't a prank
What’s wrong with a little overtime?
Typically young workers of today. Can’t handle it.
Make sure you go to college there, brother because you can’t even handle a flipping a hamburger
I always say "if you have a lot to do, best get started"
Awwwww, stop crying and deal with it! You're not the only one that has had orders like that one! We've had worse! Shame on you!
That’s not cool
You suck it up and do your job. That's what it means to have a job. I worry so for this world, when so many want for the basics, and those with the basics and more complain at having to do what is expected.
Okay...complaining about someone placing am order. He should be elated he has work...I'd fire the guy
there is really 99 people that eat that crap
Sounds like a prank... and I would treat it that way ... imagine all that work, prep, everything's put away ... you have to drag it out... cook ... AND you don't have any money yet.... you finish ... it's taken too long ... some of the food is cold and the customer refuses or wants it re cooked ... that would be a giant mess ... just say.... no can do.
wow I would just work like I'm supposed to
I'd make the sale do the order clean up and go home, it's just a job
lazyyy
You can see the big difference between the older generation(who would go on and finish the job they were paid to do. Hopefully this is not an everyday problem. However, the younger generation goes off like the idiot in the ad.(wants to go home, wants to act like a child and throw a fit, and possibly even quit his job) hopefully this isn’t a prank and sometimes(shit happens) where do you think that freeze came from? But I will agree that people should have a little more respect than to call in with an order like that right before closing time.
What a friggin little crybaby. This is a perfect example of today’s children that are a bunch of frigging snowflakes. God, their parents must be so proud.
it's called job security and I'm sure he's getting paid for overtime or maybe time and a half
INSTANT o.t!!
It's ridiculous to order that many so close to closing. Seems like they did it on purpose.
if Diet Cokes are on the order too... President Trump may be having a Party
Oh well 😂😅🤣
do your job👍
I don't understand the problem I've worked McDonald's when I was a teenager and then in my twenties I came back as a manager I work closing shift all the time usually we preclosed okay that massive order that would be pretty big but a 24 turn lay on the old system you be done in 15 minutes 20 at the most
they can make those burgers in less than 10 minutes at mcdonald's, this is just another reason why people are wanting minimum wage to be $15 an hour when no one deserves it
Stinking crybaby
That's the way business is. It would not have taken 2 hrs to make that many hamburgers. All they had to do is close on time and have a couple of workers continue making the hamburgers, and the rest start closing. He got excited for nothing.
Me. Over time. I don’t care, if you want me to stay, you are paying me over time. If you don’t, hire someone right now. 👍🏼
I would be afraid to put in an order like that right at closing I definitely wouldn't eat em
I would’ve said no even if it took five minutes. I know this kind of behavior seems insignificant, but it is. Because when you’re getting off work, you wanna go home and see your kids and your family ! This person didn’t give a shit about either so I just would’ve said we’re closed McDonald’s won’t go out of business for 200 bucks🙋♀️
I hope they paid first. give the employees thriple pay.
I worked at a wing joint and while shutting everything down, , a tour bus pulled up and 40 hungry travelers walked in? it was a slow night but everything was to go and it took about 35 minutes and they gave us $50 tip
back in 1972 when I worked at McDonald's we had 4 buses come up 10 minutes before closing. We served them and closed one hour later. I guess different time, attitude and respect
the money would have to been paid in advance for me to make all them cheeseburgers this seem like it's not real
it happened to me many times. if the store is still open, you do it. sure as hell wouldn't cry like a baby.
sorry but if you show up 2 minutes before closing I say so sorry we are close come back tomorrow 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
they have the right to refuse anyone
99 burgers at McDonald's would take 30 mins tops probably less
I'd make the overtime and stop the whining
if you're going to cry quit
boo hoo do your job
well if I was working at McDonald's I would think I actually need the job so guess what I was suck it up and fry some burgers
make that extra money.
if I was the manager or if I was running the store those burgers wouldn't get made pretty simple they just wouldn't get their burgers unless they went home and cook them I would care less if they ever come back or not.
team work makes the dream work hurry up guys
Poor baby
fentanyl in the cheeseburgers
someone give food to the homeless
I would have told them we’re close
People act like they cant say no 😂
OMG
That's how you get extra moisture on your burgers
damn babies i was a Butcher for 27 years, I used to get huge orders before closing my crew and I would pump that shit for the next 2-3 hours knowing we're getting overtime, and we had no problems doing it , it's called work and you have to be cut from a different cloth I've done 20 hour shifts before no big deal put your head down and grind
quit and walk out
