Decline order if it's 1-2 hours before closing... workers don't deserve dat chit.....
that wasn't 99 cheeseburgers. that was actually 99 quarter pounders with cheese. and the team I work with would have respectfully told them to come back the next day and to call in advance to give the team enough time to make sure that we had the supplies to make that much to make that order.
it was actually 99 Bacon double quarters with cheese! it could take two hours because it would require 198 quarter pound patties , 99 toasted buns and all the bacon, and acrutimonts that go on it..
Typically young workers of today. Can’t handle it.
I have worked at a McDonald's. and have managed one years ago. we have dealt with charter buses. and even catered enough hamburgers and fries for a large business party that order was nothing to cry about
I would explain that an order that large well need to be paid before they would start cooking!
if I was the manager or if I was running the store those burgers wouldn't get made pretty simple they just wouldn't get their burgers unless they went home and cook them I would care less if they ever come back or not.
I worked for place that made pizzas. I got an order for 20 pizzas for one company Christmas party. Just me in the kitchen. I didn't lose my cool and made them very close to closing time. The day after Christmas, that company owner came in and told my boss how well and efficient I was with the order. I was given a card with a $100 bill in it. My boss gave me a small raise, because I held my cool and stayed with my job until the order was completed. There can be benefits unknown when you stick to your job.
If I'm gonna be managini, McDonald's in a couple minutes before he closed and getting a name burgers, I would say, no, we're gonna we're getting ready to slow.As I'm sorry, we're not making those burgers.I want to go somewhere else.\nNo, we're not doing all the burgers.I'm sorry
and if I remember correctly McDonald's managers can deny those orders if they're not made in advance because it causes problems at least that's how it was when I was younger but this was early 2000 so I don't know if things have changed but if we had somebody come in and we're trying to order a hundred anything they have to call that stuff in advance let us know so we can prep it and do it without interrupting the flow of our regular customers ordering normal amount of food
he should be happy with the overtime
it's your job. and it shouldn't take 2 hours to make 99 burgers at McDonald's
back in 1972 when I worked at McDonald's we had 4 buses come up 10 minutes before closing. We served them and closed one hour later. I guess different time, attitude and respect
Aren’t you so glad doctors and surgeons don’t act the way this punk ass does
They should have refused the order. Cruel management. Clock out and go home and kell the manager that he can make them. It's not worth it!
Some jerk who doesn’t care about others and has never worked a job where closing time is escape time‼️
Been there, done that. Didn't do 99 but 55 in 15 mins with 3 people. Yes everything was fresh off the grill. If u have the right manager & crew it's easy.
if Diet Cokes are on the order too... President Trump may be having a Party
having worked at McDonald's in my youth, I know that it doesn't take 2 hours to make 99 burgers. Even if he were the only cook on duty.
I worked at McDonald's. 99 hamburgers will take 20 minutes. geeze!😲🤔😆
On large grills like McDonald's uses it doesn't take very long to make 99 hamburgers. Surely not two hours.
Make sure you go to college there, brother because you can’t even handle a flipping a hamburger
Not a dedicated employee
They wouldn't have gotten that order.
I would have said, im sorry but we are closed.
I would get the money up front make sure it wasn't a prank
Stay and work. Think cha ching make money
You can see the big difference between the older generation(who would go on and finish the job they were paid to do. Hopefully this is not an everyday problem. However, the younger generation goes off like the idiot in the ad.(wants to go home, wants to act like a child and throw a fit, and possibly even quit his job) hopefully this isn’t a prank and sometimes(shit happens) where do you think that freeze came from? But I will agree that people should have a little more respect than to call in with an order like that right before closing time.
boo hoo do your job
it happened to me many times. if the store is still open, you do it. sure as hell wouldn't cry like a baby.
I'd make the sale do the order clean up and go home, it's just a job
You suck it up and do your job. That's what it means to have a job. I worry so for this world, when so many want for the basics, and those with the basics and more complain at having to do what is expected.
team work makes the dream work hurry up guys
damn babies i was a Butcher for 27 years, I used to get huge orders before closing my crew and I would pump that shit for the next 2-3 hours knowing we're getting overtime, and we had no problems doing it , it's called work and you have to be cut from a different cloth I've done 20 hour shifts before no big deal put your head down and grind
you flip hamburgers in an air-conditioned building. what are you crying about? try putting on a roof?
jerk. he's mentally sick , needs help
Okay...complaining about someone placing am order. He should be elated he has work...I'd fire the guy
It was probably someone get food for homeless.
wow I would just work like I'm supposed to
What’s wrong with a little overtime?
That’s not cool
I don't understand the problem I've worked McDonald's when I was a teenager and then in my twenties I came back as a manager I work closing shift all the time usually we preclosed okay that massive order that would be pretty big but a 24 turn lay on the old system you be done in 15 minutes 20 at the most
I'd fire this guy. who cries for having to do their job. what a wimp
Man up little boy its not always going to go your way it comes with the job
🥰🥰 I'd be so happy cuz I know I'd be getting overtime cuz they have no choice but to give me overtime and yeah I wouldn't be upset I'd be happy I had a job and was able to work overtime and make a little extra money I know you're tired but come on it's overtime
Exactly! He and others in this world needs to grow up!! Act like your age, not I Q!
What a friggin little crybaby. This is a perfect example of today’s children that are a bunch of frigging snowflakes. God, their parents must be so proud.
I'd make the overtime and stop the whining
don't you get overtime.
must have been a Gemini
I'd have told the customer that it's closing time so they couldn't be accomodated right then but come back tomorrow.
Oh pleassse
just do it
Let him quit!! He'll miss the OT. BOO HOO BOO HOO
just do your job and make the overtime!!
love been there worked at Burger King manger ready to close and 2 uses pull up have to serve smile carry on that's what I told my great people on at that time
Doesn't take 2 hours to make it 99 cheeseburgers 😂
Very messy kitchen for a McDonald's.???
I worked fast food for many many years so I know that panic at closing time and a huge order ...
The hamburgers are PEOPLE......
I wo have said we are closed😆😲
They were still open! Don't they get paid by the hour anyway?
It seems like it was a prank. They are already filming it while it was coming in.
Get the order partially filled by another McDonald’s
Turn out the lights, lock the doors.
If the order came in and was paid for already, you make 99 burgers.
