I was on top of the mountain when it erupted wearing parachute. it shot me 2 miles high and the wind carried me to safety. miracle 🙏

I can actually remember that and I was living in Virginia and they were telling us to put sheets out so we could catch the ass as a souvenir. That’s how far the ash traveled in the atmosphere
I remember this when I was young! We woke up in the morning to volcanic dust on everything in our yard. This was in North Dakota in 1980 I was a teenager! Everything was yellow in the air. We didn’t know what had happened
it was real, I was there in Scappoose Oregon. it covered everything in ash.....
I watched it happen from a hilltop in West Salem. I figured the mushroom cloud was from a nuclear strike on Portland. Probably should've bothered me more than it did. 😆

I totally remember this happening, I was in 7th or 8th grade, & were studying volcanos. I remember how powerful volcanos can be, & this just proved it more. I remember, trying to see as much news or magazine articles as possible, cause it really stirred up my curiosity of volcanos. I knew people had died, & people lost homes & that an entire lake or something disappeared, but, it really was fascinating to me.
I was eating froot loops at my grandma's 80 miles away when that eruption happened. I was 12. we we're right under the mushroom cloud of ash!

you know im really starting to think that theses so called valcanoes was of some ancient or just an older structures that was deliberately sabotaged to hide something of the past that they erased. If theres been whole towns burning from underneath and still burning then I wouldnt be quick to rule out my theory. Whatever was put in them is slowly dissolving from inside out until pressure builds up then boom. I know ive seen pyramids that are the same shape as so called valcanoes
I live 45 miles from Mt. St. Helen's. It's beautiful up there now, the forest is growing back quickly. 😎✌️🇺🇲

I grew up 40 miles from there. I was in 5th grade. Felt the earth move and it turned black as night. We had ash in our shingles for the next 20 years. My mom saved a big trash can of ash and used it in her vegetable garden. Never had so much yield in the garden after that 😅
