What type of of animal was that.
The large, oval bone with marrow visible in the first image is typical of a lamb shank or leg cut. The golden broth and method of simmering the whole joint in seasoned liquid is very common in Turkish or Middle Eastern cooking (like kuzu tandır or lamb shank stew). The way it’s served, pulling out the tender, dripping piece of meat and tucking it into crusty bread, is also a Turkish street-food style way of serving slow-cooked lamb.

Cut it in half lengthwise, half for your date, half for yourself, meat side up. Laddle rotisserie chicken gravy on the bread surrounding the meat. Asparagus Spears with chopped water chestnuts on the side. A dollup of sage dressing in the cavity the bone was in and I'm in heaven 😍

There was another video that I saw here yesterday that was almost the same. Same huge bunks of meat, but the guy had a large flat bread of some sort. Then he reached deeply into the "broth" and grabbed a bone and lifted the hunk of meat out. He bounced it on the bread, and all the meat fell off. He was standing there holding just that spade-shaped bone, which he used as a paddle and poured more of the broth onto it and used the bone to break up the meat. That broth looked like pure grease. But at least this guy has gloves on. Yesterday's guy didn't.

What type of meat they normally serve. Lamb here is not good now I've heard of Muskrat and haven't tried it. Lamb to me taste like a wet dog smells. That's the Lamb chops... I liked it at first until someone told me that. Then its cilantro taste like soap, I had to get over that.
