Imagine losing your phone in there.
First of all, when I had my housecleaning business, I did have a couple houses like this, so it’s possibly real! But I’ve also found out that most people like this have been horribly traumatized &/or ABUSED a lot of their life. It becomes a mental illness cuz they don’t know how to deal with life~no positive life skills were taught them, for the most part. Chronic , clinical depression is usually a life~long fact of life! They become so overwhelmed with life itself that that can’t function in any “ normal” way! To bury their “pain” they often turn to alcohol &/or drugs, but not always! They desperately need love, acceptance, understanding, & a lot of counseling & therapy~& even then they seldom ever become a “ normal person in society & life! How do I know all this? I have lived it myself!! I was horribly abused (in EVERY WAY!) for almost 40 yrs.~ by my parents, brothers, uncles, 2 husbands,& more! I’ve had over 20 yrs. of counseling & intense therapy which has helped tremendously!

I know someone who had this issue, and they were diagnosed with o c d and depression and anxiety and PTSD. Once they got treatment, they cleaned up their room.
