Bring back the cursive and penmanship in schools. These kids can't sign their names, can't read cursive and can't even write neatly in print anymore bc everything's on computers. Got kids graduating high school with 2nd grade chicken scratch handwriting.. it's appalling. It's not just cursive that's taken the hit, just simple writing .. these kids can't write! They can't read, they can't spell, growing up on damn autocorrect and keyboards smdh..
The constitution and Bill of rights is in cursive, and now you know why they won't teach it anymore.

Crazy how its shocking that kids know cursive. I gave my niece a card and wrote it in cursive like i do everything else..She looked at it a d said " Thank you for the $ and the card but i cant read it!"
It鈥檚 so crazy to me how teachers are surprised that children know cursive when they鈥檙e supposed to teach it, but for some reason, cursive writing isn鈥檛 a part of the curriculum anymore. When I was a teacher, we did not teach our kids cursive and I did not like that I taught them cursive while I had my middle schoolers
