there r places like Ross, Marshall's, tj Maxx. there r places u can get brand name shoes for 3o or less. u have 2 look. those shoes r terrible & at that age, the bullying is relentless. Even if she let is slide off her back, after a few times of kids teasing or pushing, she is gonna push back. then what? my daughter was teased & developed social anxiety, ptsd, * cannot attend school on a regular basis. we bought brand name everything. unfortunately she was overweight. now, she has lost 100lbs, & competed in miss teen Arizona pageant. she didnt win, but her confidence is alot better. 2 yrs ago, she could not go out the house w/o me, & she is almost 17.

Add the junkie charms to design them and keep it moving .

Here’s some more ideas lil mama

My pair of shoes for my first day of school when I went to high school they were name brand Converses got them at ross less then $20.

Grandma is buying what she can afford. This case is closed.

She's been brainwashed by our capitalistic society to believe that wearing only "designer" shoes and clothes will make her either acceptable or popular. Yeah.

don't get shoes dat slip and slide, get da shoes with the STAR on da side...

times are different, if I disrespected my mother's money, I would be picking my face up off the ground. I understand times are different. There are several options out there, but a child should NEVER disrespect their parents/grandparents $$$$$$$

My girls wore Arizona clothes from JCP and shoes from Payless they were bullied &I made a six figure salary. But while other children were splurged on with fancy clothes and shoes,my children traveled to Europe,Caribbean and several states, they went to see played and classical theatre,oh I took them to homeless shelters so that they can appreciate what they had.We feed the homeless took their used clothing that were still in good condition to the homeless shelters)Their friends had none of these experiences but they were richly dressed.we have to teach them to be tough and appreciate what they have

then she shouldn't get any.

What type of “grandmother” would embarrass her granddaughter on social media? A Terrible one😡

These kids are a different kind of different these days. I would’ve loved them when I was a kid. We wore shoes until the soles wore off!

Bought myself a pair and my granddaughter took mine🤦🏽♀️😂

Here’s some more ideas lil

I know this is a joke. Those look like men’s shoes. Take that same thirty dollars and go to Ross and get that child some Nikes

She's definitely ungrateful. She needs to realize that there are people around the world that don't have any shoes at all. Our parents couldn't afford name brand clothes and shoes because there were seven of us kids and we were grateful for whatever we got.

How about we teach our youths to value people and not things. If you are consumed by what people think of you rather than knowing your worth and being the best version of yourself, you'll be in constant need of validation from others. Yes I was teased in elementary school about the marks on my skin (from mosquito bites), but this only fueled my aspiration to be the best student in the school. Hence I was able to graduate valedictorian and obtain a full scholarship in junior high into high school. Our youths are in critical need of learning self-worth, empathy, analytical and critical thinking skills, privilege vs right, and conflict resolution to name a few. Understand that if we sit idly by and watch them fail, they're gonna be the ones in charge during our geriatric days. Food for thought!

nope she's right sorry to say but it's a big deal to wear the right shoes.imo. I bought my granddaughter some knock-off Nikes and all her friends made fun of her at school.

Then get yourself a pt job (babysitting) and save up for shoes you want!

sad... kids have it ruff now days from others kids...

My daughter got a pair that colour and I’ve done her some junk socks to wear with them. And she loves them. My children are grateful for everything they get. High ticket price or not that’s just how we raised them. They don’t ask for much so when they ask for something we get it. ( Those sprayground backpacks though) 😭She’s really hard on Jordan’s and Nike Dunks even though we have the means I refuse to keep buying 300 dollar shoes for her to only damage within a month and they can’t be saved 😭 She loves Crocs, Ked’s, Converse, Hey Dudes, Kurt Geiger all name brands but not with a hefty price. Maybe she hasn’t seen how Tikky Tok blew these back up and are definitely the trend now🤔

She can wear those sorry sandals keep your money🤔

😆😆😆her face tho 😂😂😂

please don't make her wear them, other kids are cruel

Grandma's raising these kids while mom is running the streets

She’s not ungrateful. She’s filled with anxiety wearing those shoes knowing how the kids will judge and look at her. 🥲

Many children are not getting new shoes or clothes 🙏🏼🌸

Sad to say, but the reality of it is that she will be bullied. Don't do her like that.

And she would be walking just like this, with her unappreciative self.

you should be glad grandma looking out for you where mama and daddy at.

That's a BIG parental fail. She needs to be taught what being grateful is.

Matter of fact, granny, DM me so I can get Lil mama some shoes

and not only that you don't put this crap all over social media that's the kids are going to teach this child at school, those sneakers is ugly take her to Marshalls or somewhere and get her some sneakers

The kids will make fun of her. You don’t know how kids are these days.. she wants to be like everybody else that’s all. It’s not that she’s ungrateful she knows..

Get the shoes girl ..I'm sleeping

She is about 12 what do you expect. Take 100 12 yr olds and about 90 of them will give you the same treatment

Well, let her parents buy them for her. Just buy a simple backpack with that $30.

let her go with last years shoes.

Who is she trying to impress? She needs to focusing on something that matters instead of keeping up with the Jones's without a job

Either shoes or no shoes. Gurl! We had Payless shoes and you betta not complain. The audacity! Complain inside, not outside. Get that leg🤣

😆Grandma I Like These Better

Grandma tell her a price range, stick to it and let her choose what she wants.

Our priorities have become so shallow. Take a glance at Gaza just for renewed perspective.

Keep your money. Let her squeeze her toes in last year’s shoes.

if she's ungrateful take her to the thrift store for shoes

I would have told her. Don't worry about it. Wear the same shoes you wore when school closed. So you don't want these new shoes. That's what you're gonna wear whatever you wore. Before school closed is what you're gonna open school up with. Since you wanna be so damn ungrateful. 🤔👍

Those shoes are ugly and she will get teased at school! This ain’t the 60’s

My granddaughters & my self got some from Walmart and designed them I got purple and silver and my granddaughters got pink & silver

Keep your money Grandma. She will make sure they get messed up.

Name brand shoes at decent prices please go to Ross! They have Nike's, Nike Air Max, Chuck Taylors and Jordans for the low. 💪💯 I know because I work at one.

She's got a lot of room calling something ugly. Ungrateful little trash.
