Outer purple box has a trigger that causes the lid on the inner plastic box to open as the outer box is seated on the platform. At the same time a separate trigger lifts the ring to the upper portion of the outer box. Sword goes through ring and moving sword down re-seats ring in its original place in the inner box. Lifting off the outer box drops the lid on the inner box. Voila! Magic!👍
