I tried to commit suicide starting at the age of 7 1/2 more times and I can count my brothers. Had to keep going into the house to tell my grandmother that I was laying in the street waiting for a car to hit me and kill me.
ok folks a 10 year old don't commit suicide wtf a 10 year old wouldn't have the knowledge or concept of suicide unless the adults in the house taught her and helped her die

I was bullied by my next door neighbor and the one across the street. They took turns hitting me. I was hit the whole way home from the bus stop. I was terrified every day!!! I never once thought about hurting or killing myself
At 10 I was afraid to die. I don't know what was going through her mind. I can't imagine. I kicked a lot of ass protecting those that were bullied in school. It made me sad to see that.
Trust me, they do. I didn't, but I was mature for my age and I had the means, access to knives, guns, and pharmaceuticals. I even knew what drugs in the house would work the best. I was bullied so much by age 10 that when I was by myself I cried for a couple of hours thinking about it. Fortunately for me, I thought of the good things I had experienced and what killing myself would accomplish, then decided to screw everyone (my peers), and didn't do it. Months later, a girl I liked in my class did, she was 11 years old then.

I believe bullying is the cause for this. Kids are cruel and it doesn’t appear that schools monitor this kind of behavior. It would be horrible for a young person to be so ostracized and bullied by her peers.

I almost lost my niece at seven years old because she was being bullied for having a condition where she pose her hair out and wraps it around her fingers for comfort so we had to cut her hair real short so she couldn’t do that so it didn’t matter if she had long hair with bald patches, she was getting bullied or short hair where she couldn’t pull any of it out and still got bullied. The sad part is most of these kids are raised by piss poor parents who don’t teach their kids, not to judge a book by its cover!!!
10? 10? oh this poor baby. this is why I homeschool my daughter. public school is so harsh and devastating for many kids. my heart pours out to this child and her parents. We have gone so so far from our foundation. this is just crazy. I know a family who homeschooled have their 2 older kids decided to enter public school. in a few months they withdrew. they said 1. why are people so mean? 2. they did literally everything on a computer and didn't like it, including math. they didn't like how the kids behaved at all, they weren't nice, treated each other poorly and it was a very short amount of time before they came back to mom and dad and said- we want to be homeschooled again. these kids were in Jr. high and high school. different classes & schools but their experience was the exact same. this is in a nicer area, middle - upper middle class & income area. respect for others & common decency isn't being taught in the homes.

This happened in the early and late 70s , so back then we didn’t have electronics to give kids ideas of anything like this. But it happened more than anyone could imagine. Kids would take pills or cut their wrists, so just know it’s so much worse nowadays. Talk to your kids be a parent and not their friend, let them talk and you’ll learn a lot about them and what they’re going through.
Social media and electronics are the devils playground. I've never been heavily Christian. I've always believed, but I wasn't devout. But I truly believe S.M. and electronics is the devil at play.

They should have parent monitors on volunteer basis sitting in on classes to help teachers on this, and in the halls and bathrooms, to stop the bullying.
I believe it I was 12 when I took a whole bottle of the old yellow aspirin bottle back then and I was just confused and sad . I got lucky and threw up half then I was so shaky I didn’t want to come out of the bathroom that night but I’m here today at 56 :) TTG💕

I told them before middle school just get thru these couple years they are terrible for girls and you'll find your plans in high school. they truly thanked me after for that and saying it before they became that age. It was still hard but they knew there was a worst period and an end period. Just our experience.

Yes, at 10 years old they are pretty resilient of things, but bulling or depression can give you a hard hit. There are ALL different levels of depression . Mine started when I was in first second grade. I can remember what it was. This type of depression as you get older increases the many life factors you’re living. Yes, I lost my father to suicide. He was sick with a heart issue that he told know one about.
