If this is true, then there is a bigger problem with this family. I have zero issues with mine. I do buy things at random when I can afford it but it is not expected. I believe it started when Gen X (me included) bought everything our kids wanted and we went into debt for it. We started it. I don’t believe this is an epidemic yet but there needs to be a line. If my kids actually need help and I can, I will but I don’t play the hostage game.

My ex- mother in law refused to allow my kids to see their father until I signed the house we owned together over to her. The evil from Satan to destroy families.
