Guys I am not sure now just what it is. I thought coyote, y'all are saying opossum. But criky look how tall it is and the length of its tail is longer! I don't think we should be demonizing the screaming woman until we find out what sort of critters the thing is!
I thought a coyote with mange, but it didn't attack the cats so that is good.
poor baby just hungry wasn't no creature just a starved animal if it was evil would have killed the cats and attacked her, people need more education on wildlife. when they are starved just like humans it causes disfigured looks may grotesque looks a little desernment would have showed this,, not everything is evil this type of hype is glorified through fear and social media. 🙏
Mange opossum 🤔
Mange can be easily treated & so can hunger/starvation. Please, in the name of God, show some compassion & kindness. It is no different with foxes & raccoons. There is a place where we live called Izze's Pond. They are always willing to help advise someone on the best treatment plans. It isn't necessary or kind to kill an animal. If there a chance, you can simply treat it. Some friends of ours had been treating a vixen fox who had horrible mange. She rewarded them with the beautiful sight of two little babies this year. She is completely healed of any mange.
I saw a starving , hairless , I thought was a dog in my backyard. it was pitiful, so I got to play the food to get out there and it took off 90 Miles an hour running back through the woods, which was behind my house.And then I realized that it was a coyote that had lost all of her hair , and it was really sad. that does look like a possum for sure, but it's bigger than any possum.I've ever seen, and it is definitely starving, and I do feel really sorry for any animal.That's starving. she probably couldn't recognize it because it lost all its hair or probably from some kind of starvation probably did it. humans just take over everything they cut down.All the woods, they don't give a c*** about any of the wildlife that they're harming at all.It's all about the money of building building building developing cutting down woods in areas , clear cutting animals , habitats. some of us feel sorry for animals and not for humans.Because humans have choices, animals do lnot.
That is a suffering wild animal you are the one that leaves food outside!
