This was not a fireman, nor was it a fireman's ladder. A fireman's ladder is always black-tipped. The guy was trying to help but unfortunately, that was a very cheap ladder. Now he's going to get sued. That man was alive; he was holding his phone in his hand as he fell. This is going to cost him dearly!

why were 2 people on the ladder??? all ladders caution labels warn against exceeding weight limitations. it's never okay to have two people on a ladder unless the other person is a child, and you are embracing the ladder around the child. This is sad, goes to show qe dont know the time or the day

I think that was a civilian who got in a hurry to help and set the ladder up wrong. He was trying to help get the man out and didn't realize his mistake. Hope the guy was ok.
He tried to he tried but considering the amount of smoke pouring from the window that fall was ultimately still a lifesaver. He wouldn’t have lasted much longer inhaling that. I hope everyone involved is ok. And I hope they get new ladders. Where’s the actual ladder truck dang it
