we have plenty of very dangerous snakes in America.. rattlers, some that get VERY big..water moccasins, DEADLY..I had an 6-7 foot tree snake jump out of a tree right behind me..ya I ran..but it was fast..as soon as I turned around it was gone from a very large open area...hmmm
