Yup, this is what happens when you allow your child to have whatever they want, anywhere, at any time of the day or night. It seems the dad is a bad influence in this relationship. Boundaries must be set, and bad behavior should have consequences. The “smacking culture” needs to return to families; otherwise, these kids—especially the so-called Gen Z—will not only ruin families but also society, and ultimately the country, if they ever end up in positions of leadership. Everything starts with the environment at home. It’s very sad. In my country, if my mom calls me once to come over and I don’t, she won’t call a second time—because the second time is the “smackdown call.” I’m almost 40, and I’m still just as scared of my mom as I was when I was first born. Honestly, that made me a better person. Now, my mom is the sweetest lady on earth, but when it comes to discipline, she does not joke around. Anyway, I hope everything works out well.
