Bobby Cutts Jr. killed Jessie Davis in her home on June 14, 2007. He admitted to strangling her during an argument. Jessie was 9 months pregnant at the time. After killing her, he rolled her body up in a comforter and used bleach in an attempt to clean the scene, which left a strong chemical smell in the house. He then left their 2-year-old son alone in the house and took Jessie’s body to a remote wooded area in Hametown Township, Stark County, Ohio, about 25 miles away. With the help of his friend Myisha Ferrell, he dumped her body in a shallow grave in Cleveland Massillon Cemetery Park, where it was later found partially decomposed over a week later. During the investigation, Cutts continued working as a police officer and even gave interviews, pretending to be concerned. His lies eventually unraveled, and he was arrested and convicted.
