The majority of the deportations during his term were people being turned away at the border or during the border entry process. It wasn't by rent a cop bounty hunter thugs wearing masks
This is sad. President Obama was able to deport larger numbers because we turned them back, legally, at the border. President Obama was trying to get at a solution for DACA and for other undocumented immigrants already here, so he made an attempt to stem the flow into the Country. What he didn't do was violate their due process rights, nor did he send them to prisons in other countries.
Trump‘s administration is way more concerned about making sure that people get blasted with all kinds of news about everything going on in the name of transparency, but really it just stresses everyone out and makes everyone freak out, often times over things that aren’t that bad. But the fact that Trump is OK with this approach is what’s messed up, not the deportation themselves. Granted, deporting someone who is a legal citizen to some country. They’ve never been to and not bringing them back… That’s kind of messed up too. Not saying that everything is great either way, but what’s terrible is the approach and the sales pitch about it, not the act itself
