Im 76. Husband dead and sons busy. I am not a car mechanic. I kept telling the dealership that something was lose under my car. Turned it in several times. I heard and could feel a thumping under the car. I thought the exhaust could be lose. Kept being told nothing wrong. Well, driving away from dealer and heard something dragging. stopped. 2 of the undercarriage panels had dropped down. Every one of the screws holding the panels in place were loose. Dealer apologized and gave me a year of free maintenance.

This happened to my sister in law. They kept telling her she was imagining it. The tire fell off while she was driving.

Yeah, I bought a car with 15 miles on it! Being a woman was not in my favor! I told the dealership it keeps shimming (jerking on the highway)! They said nothing was wrong with it so I had to fight them thru an arbitration and I won! The gas sock was full of dirt! They had to replace the whole gas line etc., pay me for every mile they put on it too! Just because we are women doesn’t mean we don’t know our shit! I just don’t know mechanic lingo!

This fucking happened to me!! No fucking shit, they called me over to show me that none of the screws had been tightened. One touch and the tire fell off.

Actually, many dealerships are actually the best place you can have your vehicle serviced! The owner of that vehicle was very lucky they got where they were going. I see things like this all the time.
Dealers keep a scrap dumpster for all the left over nuts & bolts. Dumpster fills up quickly.
