HOT

Ya'll blaming it on the parents like they are with their kids 24 hours a day. No parent knows what their kids are doing all day...kids today are not the same kids front 20-30 years ago. People judging people about their kids until it's their (your) child!!! Also the judge telling the mother she birth a rotten person. A complaint needs to made against the judge, that child was innocent when born and things and people in this world changed him. Instead of judging why not just pray for this CHILD???!!!! Who is anyone to say a person or people are raising their child right when you are not in that household seeing what's going on. A child will act one way with their parents and a completely totally different person when out of view!!!

16-Year-Old Sentenced to 55 Years in Prison for Execution-Style Murder March 21, 2025, Peoria, IL – Today, Byron A. Jarvis,16, was sentenced to 55 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections for the execution-style murder of 17-year-old Dahvie P. Brown-Bey in August 2023. The murder occurred in the East Bluff during broad daylight and was captured on surveillance video from across the street. In that video, a group of kids could be seen hanging out on the sidewalk when another individual rode up to them on a scooter, removed a gun from his waistband, and fired four shots at Dahvie at close range - three of the shots into his head. One of the kids who witnessed the shooting was only 10 years old at the time. During the trial, that witness testified he saw Jarvis shoot his friend Dahvie. A Peoria County Jury found Jarvis guilty of First Degree Murder this past December. Jarvis was 14 years old at the time of the murder,

no child under the age of 18 souls be able to be sentenced more than how old they are. so he should haven gotten 16 years. but the judge is seeing this 16 yr old as a lifetime employee for the prison. modern day slavery!!!

it's about time that they start paying for their violent crimes ! A killer that has a wake of destruction behind them needs to be punished properly. that's why so many higher up thugs get these young folks to do their bidding for em. cuz they think they will just get a slap on the wrist for such a permanent violent act

i deal with kids like this daily in juveniledetention. tbh its 90% is poor parenting. lack of both parents plays a part because most come from single parent household. put these kids in sports or something instead of letting them run the streets will help. if lil Johnny isn't taught respect adults and your parents then its taught because most of these kids dont have that to begin with..good luck son cus you're going to need it in prison

People are doing negative things in the world, not just young ppl. A lot of people judge and forget about their OWN negative SELVES. Past and present.😌

Can't be there all the time. and everyone has to be responsible for themselves. but yall do not understand parenting very well. When you are with them, you instill the proper mindset and lessons so that they function properly and productively when you are not around. so yes, quite often it can be blamed some on parents. But the flip side is the very best parents, the ones there always, teaching and trying and loving sometimes get kids that go bad too, no matter what they do.

You commit adult crimes, you gotta do adult time. He killed someone. At least his mother can visit him in prison. Unfortunately the other kid’s mother can’t only visit a tombstone. To the judge👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

No matter how well you raise a child, they can still choose to make poor decisions. Sometimes, it's simply the child's choice. They ignore the advice of their parents or siblings, and go hang out with bad people. The only time they reflect on their parents’ teachings is when they find themselves in a courtroom. That’s why I have little sympathy for someone whose parents raised them well but who ultimately decided to follow a harmful path.

what! why in the world of hell does a person's parents get the blame for their actions? I guess this goes to everyone especially us that raised our children right and they still become serial killers.

it's not just on the parents it's on the kids too because you can tell them how to live the right way until you're blue in the face but that doesn't mean they are going to listen... They need to take responsibility for their own actions period so don't just blame the momma cause that's just wrong
