I had an African Grey for 36 years before he past from an infection in his snare from a tiny seed in his food! The best 36 years of my life! They are so smart.. mine could actually carry on a short conversation .. By the time he was two.. We recorded over 250 words & phrases! Beautiful birds but nearly a lifetime commitment ..I wish I longer with him!…Charlie!🥲

when I was young my mom and dad raised words one of which was an African Gray another was a mynah bird, along with many cockatiels, and the macaws, finch, parakeets, but the African gray and mynah bird were my favorites💕🌸
