you come to our country and you spread ways to steal? be careful
it does that because your tank's full of gas dude God damn people are stupid 馃槀馃槀馃槀
Topping off the tank like that can damage your ignition system, which, under normal circumstances, should last the lifespan of the car without issues.
My F250 does this and it drives me nuts!!!! I'll do exactly like you and flip it upside-down and that doesn't always work either! It takes me 15-20 minutes just to pump $30 worth of gas. I won't pump more than that at a time because it takes so long....my truck easily holds $100 worth of gas
If you just get a better seal, when you put it in that wouldn't happen
I just pulled the handle out just about an inch or so and don't do it no more.
Reading this you go out at nite looking for a clue. Stop posting, When you figure out how a gas nozzle works and what a utility body does when modification effects the feuling process.
sometimes it could be your charcoal filter in the tank going bad
you don't have to turn it upside down just pull it out a little
destroy your gas tank float why don't ya?
some people are dumb as hell....
There are little holes at the end of the pump nozzle that when the gas reaches the tip of the nozzle, it triggers the mechanism to stop the pumping process. For when the tank is full, however sometimes it may happen do to the mechanism being to sensitive.
it does that sound you do not over fill.
God I swear. this poor country.
over fill and fill up your canister and have more issues than just you wanting to go a few more mile on 1 tank
its water in the fuel. it makes it foam up more than normal and it causes it to shut off like its full.
yeah y'all cooked....馃槶馃槶馃槶
EVAP filter
If that is happening, then you need to check your fuel tank vent valve
maybe that's the safety shut off so that you won't pump like 100 bucks worth of gas on the ground maybe
it's the little hole on the gas nozzle....has something to do with venturi in the handle to tell it when to shut off ..
Overfilling will fk up the evaporative system and make the tank very slow to take fuel, even when empty.
Dear god, pull the nozzle out 1 inch
Yea n if you walk away from it n don鈥檛 get back before it鈥檚 done you gonna flood the gas station with fuel
you feel your gas tank all the way up to the lip you are causing serious problems to your emission system
Or, instead of flipping it over pull the nozzle out about half an inch. The sencer is making a connection with the metal and is getting confused
I have done this. The only issue is that you do NEED that little air space in the tank once it's full. Just be careful not to overkill. Good tip, though!
I have to do that same shit in my Ram...works everyt8me..sidewaysalso works using your gas cover as a stand lol
yeah but the pressure from being to full is hard on the fuel pump and can blow the seal around the pump when the pressure builds up from the heat. it does that for a reason. search what damage can be caused from doing this
he's getting charged for it.
this isn't a smart idea in modern cars because you can get fuel in the evap system and it can make it's way in the engine giving you a rich condition and can generate a fault code or even trigger the car to run on limp mode
that happens when your tank is really empty. air pressure built up in the tank stops for the over flow sensor on the end of the gas nozzle . 馃憤
don't do that. it will put fuel in your charcoal canister and ruin it, plus fuel needs some expansion and contraction room
No possible way You put 15 on the pump that鈥檚 all you get You use your card and then it will keep going
I would watch it close... I bet it pumps on the concrete until you finally notice.
and this is why some people overflow their tank馃槀馃槀馃槀
you something that foreal馃槀馃槀
bad egr
It happens because of the anti-theft feature in your gas tank down spout. pull it back an inch, and it will flow fully. If you stick it in all the way, the gas splashes back and the nozzle thinks it's full. They are set very sensitive to prevent spillage.
Good way to overfill your tank. Go purchase some gas containers if you need extra. Just a suggestion.
Yeah if I do that it pores out on the ground it stops when it鈥檚 full
gay
Gracias bro
Pulling it out, and reinserting it at a different depth does the same thing ! When this happens, Gasoline is back flowing, triggering the overflow switch, signaling the tank is full ! Same as your Ole' Lady ! 馃憤馃構
josey carswell...you are correct. the shut off on the nozzle is there to keep people from overfilling their tanks but like everything else in our world, this sometimes malfunctions. shutting off with less than a full tank. btw...gas expands in the tank when it's hot out. manufacturers want you to leave space in the tank for the fuel expansion..just a FYI
or or or just use your hand and don't be lazy 馃槄
the egr valve is not letting u get gas
Thanks
It鈥檚 vapor locked don鈥檛 pull the cap off until you are ready to fill it
