Yes, I can argue with ignorance or conscientious stupidity. Example, the Republican party did not support or introduce the Civil Rights Bill. un fact, Strom Thurmon filibuster for hours to hold up the vote. And, there's a difference between the Reconstruction Republicans and the post Reconstruction Rebubs!!!馃

True, but you need to dig more into history to understand that back then, Dems were conservatives, and liberals were Republicans. Visit your high school history teacher to confirm my note.

Here's what you haven't mentioned: Who, and where are those racists Democrats today? Answer: They are now called Republicans. Yes! It all happened when they switched parties.. The shift in political views between the Democratic and Republican parties happened gradually over several decades, mostly from the 1930s to the 1960s. The Civil Rights movement was one of the major catalysts for this change. That's why you would notice that the people who are supported by the KKK, and now celebrate the Confederate flag are now Republicans. They are the same people who are trying to hide black history, not wanting it to be in the library books. Democrats on the other hand were the ones who wrote the civil Rights bill under John Fitzgerald Kennedy, & passed by his then Vice President and successor, President Lyndon Baines Johnson. Therefore, The Democratic party is the party of inclusion. The Republicans are for a divided accommodating White Bigoted Rich, and Greedy, facist People.
