I do hope your son will change his behavior after this. Keep reminding him of his capabilities. I know you are at your wits end. I’m a retired teacher. I know you are trying your best to keep him out of jail or, like you said, just staying alive. Maybe a trip to the jail to see where he could be if his behavior doesn’t change would help. We used to take our 5th graders to tour the courthouse and the jail. It made an impression on them that I hope made a difference in some of their lives. Maybe you could check up on his schoolwork by looking at that day’s assignments and have him bring all finished work home before it is turned in. That way you would know his work was done. If you visit with his teachers to tell them you care about him getting caught up on schoolwork I’m sure they would appreciate your efforts. Marcus, please use the talents you have to become a successful adult. Many kids don’t have the benefit of a parent who them to succeed.

I think this was very motivational for a lot of parents out here who are scared to punish their child my neighbor just went to jail just a few weeks ago for doing the old school bend over the knee couple wacks on the ass and the kid decided to tell his teachers about it they came and hit that man with a domestic violence and all he did was punish his child like I got punished a thousand times when I was a kid this needs to be addressed by our government you want to help our youth let us punish them the way we were punished

I really don't think discipline your child on social media is the right thing to do that. Can score that child parents? We can do better than that. You discipline your child behind closed doors. It should be between you, your husband and that child. Nobody else
