Some teachers don't understand that some kids learn different ways. I have to multitask to do something. I need to do something with my hands, and have something for the back of my brain to do. They tell us that no one learns the same way but then forces us to learn the same way. The education system is bull 🤦

I became a teacher for this exact reason, being a woman of color an also on the spectrum. I Fuckin hated Teachers like this, I get the point of seeing if a student needs help. If that student refuses your assistance, don’t press them. Growing up with an IEP, my high school thought I couldn’t read. All up until, I cussed out a teacher for doing that same shi, I could read they just won’t not leaving me alone to even see me do it.
