Start by sorting. If there’s any clean in that pile that looks folded, put that away first then sort darks, color, then lights and whites together and then I usually do towels or jeans also separately because we have a lot, but you could put jeans in with the darks and make it less, if you don’t have a ton of darks. If you don’t have a lot of lights I put any light colors in with the whites. Ultimately, you could end up with only three piles if you do it right since you’re only one person. Just start sorting and then baggage pile up as much easier to tackle when you got bags and you know what it’s going together and then just dump it all in the washing machine according to the load. PS I washed everything on warm, especially if it’s really dirty. I don’t care what they say to use cold on dark colors. Cold doesn’t get dirt or bugs out . I use hot for towels and whites. Also bleach only on towels and fabric softener if you use it only on towels, good luck. You got this!
