So sorry for her. I went down in 1993 on my Honda Hurricane 600. I was hit by a drunk driver on the 5 in Los Angeles. I was Life Flighted to Huntington Memorial given doses of Epinephrine in the Helicopter. I had a Compound Fracture of my left femur, blown disks L3 L4 L5. Broken Vertabrea L3 L4 . 4 Broken ribs, Lacerated Liver , Cracked Sternum, Broken Clavicle and road rash. Thankfully I put a helmet on . I had to use a wheelchair for a year and a walker for 8 months. Got addicted to Oxycontine 80 mgs 3 x a day. Be safe out there . It's not if you go done it's WHEN YOU GO DOWN.
I have witnessed a few motorcycle accidents. My advice is WEAR A HELMET and watch the people in cars. They are the cause so .uch of the time.
