I'm a baby boomer, when my mom wanted to go drinking, out with her gf's she'd take me to the mall store and tell customer service I was a lost child. I was 3 to 5yrs old, it only stopped bc my dad who was in the Navy came home early and just so happened to stop in the store I was in. he took me home and hid me in my room, mom came home crying her eyes out. she never fafo again

I have a 17 and a 16 old. Even though they’re old enough I don’t leave them alone for more than a couple of hours. And when I do I’m constantly calling and checking on them.

what are y'all talking about. my mother was a nurse and when I lived with her at the age of 7 I was left home by myself on Saturdays and Sundays, on the weekdays from the time I got home from school up until 8:00 that night after she got home from a 12-hour shift . she taught me and disciplined me well. I don't know exactly about this situation but I do know this woman lost her children and it's not for any of you to judge her. you don't know what the situation was all you know is she lost her babies due to a mistake or whatever. who here in this comment section never made a mistake regardless of what is it is still a mistake.
