I guess a lot of us have witnessed a mom who can't fathom what's happened to their child. That scream is distinct. At least they think he can make it because someone is doing chest compressions on him. I don't know. Years ago I heard that scream that broke through the darkness when a neighbor found her youngest son hanging from a tree in the farthest corner of the property. They had been looking for him for hours. I'll never forget that sound. I hope her child made it.🙏
That sound is what people in law enforcement & First Responders/ER personnel call a death wail. It's a sound that once heard you never forget, it's always visceral, and the moment you hear it, you know what's happened. A person can't help but feel that parents' pain.

I Lost my only daughter this past February. I was inconsolable in the Emergency Room lobby when the doctor who worked on my daughter came to tell me and I quote "she died in peace "!! I screamed My only daughter ".
