Palestine has been an area referred to for thousands of years. However there has never been its own country. Canaanites lived in Palestinian, Philistines, lived in Palestine, Israelites lived in Palestine. But there was never a government of Palestine. It was a reference to a place, similar to The Great Plains, or New England… anyone that thinks only the Arabs are indigenous to the area is lacking historical facts about the region.
