I drove a school bus yrs ago and did field trips. Always had my windows steam up. Got to a location with other drivers and we talked about difficulties driving trying to clear the windows windshield. I was given a slice of potato and told wipe it over my windshield. it worked great going hone. Just want to say, Thank You Loretta for showing that to me that day. I am a firm believer. Saved me from having an accident clearing my windshield and windows.
DAMN. Just buy a bottle of RainX, and eat the potatoe.

people have used that trick on bathroom mirrors to keep them from fogging for years.
Plain shaving cream in the red and white can works, too. If you put it on the inside of the windshield it keeps it from fogging up. Works great on the bathroom mirror, as well. Just apply it to a clean window or mirror in a circular motion then wipe to a polish with a soft towel.

did that very thing & it didn't do diddle squat. Use Finish instead. Finish works wonders on the house windows & shower doors. I agree with just eating the tater.
