Well, congratulations on getting the crab. but like someone else mentioned, I've crabbed for dungeness crab, as you're showing, for over fifty years and I can honestly say that not one crab that I have ever cleaned had any of the black contents that yours did, none at all. I've cleaned hundreds and hundreds of crabs that I have caught myself and hundreds and hundreds more of the crabs that my friends have caught because I have honed a very quick and efficient way of cleaning them over these last five decades. Some might say that the black content comes from the environment where the crabs were caught, but even though I've cleaned many hundreds of dungeness crabs from two countries and many states and this is the first time that I have ever seen black contents inside a body cavity of a dungeness crab. i'm no expert, so I perhaps learned something today myself!

Gross! Was that poop when you cracked open the crab?!Next do the rinsing using a colander. Less messy.
