My Dad used to fly model/mini planes. I forget what they are called now. They had a flying field. It was equipped with benches to sit down n watch…protected from the planes with chain link fencing. The pilots each had a protective area where they stood to pilot their plane. RC planes? One can get injured badly if hit by a runaway/out of control plane! He even saw the mini jets and helicopters too! He had such a good time with all his flying buddies out there. Good memories for my 90 yr old Dad. Now he’s into teaching us all tricks n tips in how to shoot pool. He’s amazing! He BBQ’d his own steak yesterday. Nothing this man hasn’t done in his lifetime it seems! I hope that guy didn’t get his face all cut up along with a concussion! Bet that won’t happen to him again!

Was that a model of a B52? The planes of WW11 are so cool looking. Especially because we whipped the Germans ass with them. So many men and women lost their lives for this country. They knew that they would probably never make it home but they loved this country and fought proudly so others would live. Thank God for this country with all its faults and such wonderful brave people that gave their lives. Sorry for going on.
