The cat isn’t playing dead… it’s probably extremely exhausted. Blinds with strings that have loops can kill small/medium sized animals and children… please get better blinds or at least cut the string.

Came into my mud room to find a kitten hanging by her butt in a philodendron. She was looking at me like..oops! I’m stuck. All the plants and window blind cords were moved out of reach of the kittens. I would have had a mental breakdown if I had found one of the kittens injured or dead.

That is exactly how my mother's cat died. I am so glad she walked in and seen that when she did, and I would say she cares the way she threw her phone down and started to help that kitty immediately.

Please everyone take note of this cats kittens and puppy can get hung real easily on the cords of mini blinds. It's better to raise the blinds alittle so they can look out. Then tuck the cord out of the way. Cause they're gonna look out that windows if they can reach it. Please Use Cauction....

I’m glad the kitty cats OK,thankfully! He was like let me go. Let me get out of here. I’ll come back to you in a little while but right now he’s gotta shake off what happened,oh God bless that baby. I have my blinds up 2 feet. The string is on the other side where they never go because it’s kind of blocked, but I know my cats because they always wanna look out the window so of course I make sure without ever worrying about that. That would freak me out. I’d tear them down in a heartbeat! she might be a new fur baby mama and did not realize that all felines play with string, i’m sure he’ll thank her later!🥰💕

those older blinds strings were looped. Kids would die from them too. newer ones aren't looped.

I knew someone that had pulled the blinds up and left the court down like that and the cat hung itself. was not the humans fault. just did not know just like I would have never thought of that.
