Me and my wife often times end up with special animals. She once had a deaf cat. Said it meowed loudly. Often. Real often. lol. We had a cat that a friend’s special needs child had drowned in the toilet. The cat was a we bit special after that. One of our current indoor cats had frozen when it was a kitten. Its mom abandoned it at less than a week old and the other kitten with it froze to death and this one looked dead too. After about an hour under my wife’s breast it finally made a sound and awhile later moved for the first time since freezing. She’s a little odd but not like she was when she was young. The mom left them for almost three days before we intervened. They were so small and weak we had to use a syringe and give them kitten milk replacer with it. After a few days she started building strength and was able to suck the plunger down on the syringe. She just gave birth while we were out of town to three gigantic kittens. None made it so we gave her a 3 wk old kitten.
