Teach them to stand strong & never compromise when it comes to her requirements of how a bf or spouse treat her. When mothers are teaching little girls things like how to take care of hair , makeup (yes she's not there yet! but it will come). Then honor mom's example & standard! To not support those standards is confusing for a "young lady" like this child. if you want her to respect herself , do it mama's way! if mom keeps herself with strong self respect standards,,,her daughters will most often follow parents, both should set strong role modeling.
