My lady and I don’t hide shit from each other. There are no secrets between partners and if there is something that needs to be hidden from your other half there is a reason that you are together so if you are hiding shit from your significant other there is something wrong.

whether she's right or wrong depends on what was being talked about. if his friend had a personal issue that he wants kept confidentially between them, then he has every right to talk in private. instead of immediately making assumptions that he's up to something, maybe let him have his conversation, and then politely ask him what it was about. then based on his answer, demeanor and body language, you can make an informed decision. flying off the handle, making accusations and acting like a raving lunatic is gonna get you kicked to the curb.
