Bus driver ran stop,arrow points what she or he didn't see.
For those who are wondering, I saw a news report about the accident and there were no children on the school bus at the time of the crash.
If you look closely at the car parked on the right side of the street right before the intersection where the buses collide, you can faintly see a stop sign

But, how many times has that school bus driver taken that route? Was that the route that was taken 5 days a week, 20 days a month, 8 months a year?

Everybody looking at the wrong sign! The sign parallels the telephone pole in front of the car. Kind of hard to see from that angle but definitely there. No way the school bus driver doesn’t know it’s there. Definitely ran the stop sign.

Both drivers at fault. Even if the driver of the school bus ran a stop sign, the other driver obviously wasn't paying attention. And to me, it looked like they were both going a little too fast for that residential neighborhood.

Lot of things about this accident. Yes, there is a stop sign. YES, from the school bus drivers angle it might be blocked from seeing it because of the TREE 30 feet back, beside the pickup truck (maybe it was a different route to get where they were going OR a fill-in driver that day). YES, there is no wide white line on the street out from this stop sign to tell motorists where the crosswalk is. YES, in most cities it is a penalty for parking within a certain distance of a stop sign, there are two vehicles parked close to it. Just the facts ma’am.🤷🏼♂️🤔

There's no Stop sign, Obviously those 2 don't know the rules of the road, Stop at the intersection if there is no signs and check for cross traffic.

Not certain, but a tree could be obstructing the school bus drivers view of the stop sign which only appears to be about a car length away from the tree branches.
