that's cool. cats r very smart and personable. when the connection is close, they will learn to do amazing things. I trained my deaf cat to obey my hand signals. and her daddy to do all kinds of tricks. he understood me when I would speak to him. they both had respect of people and manners. they never rubbed against anyone until they got permission. they would put their paw out as asking and if u gave permission, (touched their paw) that's when they would interact with u

yes, I have had two cats that played fetch, one when I was about 10, named lady Grey, she liked her nerf balls, and one of my cats now, named Dianne, she likes a purple plastic spring toy 😆 I love it so much, she brings it to me, sets it down and meows 😻 🐈 🐈‍⬛️ 😀

My cat is a fetcher too!!! She says… MOM instead of meow when she brings her toy back!!

Yes my kitty would do it all the time for me and when I wasn’t paying attention he would bring it up and drop it in my lap!

I have a Japanese bobtail that does that right now found out. She was doing it when she was a kitten and I just stuck.
