I know this comment is going to sound like it’s against the fight against fentanyl BUT one of the most tragic consequences of this epidemic is that chronic pain sufferers (I’m talking constant agonizing pain) such as myself can no longer be prescribed it. Both my pain specialist and my GP agree it’s the most effective treatment for me but they don’t dare prescribe it because they could lose their licenses. I’m left trying to manage even a little quality of life—but now I’m forced to take huge dosages of opioids instead. The side effects of those are terrible—and they’re a lot less effective too.

This is how my Son Died! It doesn't save everyone!! Fentanyl will kill you and it will take your life the first time you use it or if you've been using for years! My son was 22 yrs old, he left 2 children behind, he was a smart, loving, kind kid! Very handsome! He was my middle child and I loved him more than anyone could ever love another person, He was my best friend, He was that kid that you become friends with and goof around with and tell stories too and he always talked to me about his disease and how and when he was going to get off heroin and the day he died he gave me a pamphlet and said he was going to go detox and go enter this program and they had room for him and he didn't make it through the night. I'm telling you this because this is real It's real life I'm crying right now remembering my son.. Please find help, call a hot line, go to a hospital, get help!! Love to you all

I'm taking countless naloxone classes and how to administer it to a person.. and they are really doing everything wrong even though it still has a chance to save that person.. obviously you can see she's still going through certain predicaments from fentanyl even after the administrative procedure. you're supposed to lay the person back open their airway by tilting their head back. shoot one up in the nostril. after that it is done and cannot be used again, wait two to three minutes. then hit her again with another 4 mg narcan. then continue doing chest compressions. after she starts breathing put her in the recovery position by tilting her on her side putting her arms up by her head and tilting one knee further in front of the other.

Doing fentanyl is literally the same thing as playing rush and roulette. Please if you are struggling with any drugs or prescription at all reach out for help. There are so many amazing programs that will help you get through the hard shit that keeps you stuck in addiction. I have been there at rock bottom homeless on meth heroin pills and fentanyl and then prison. I overdosed overdosed every couple weeks and didnt care because I had no value. My life is different now 8.5 years later. I am now a mother and wife with a beautiful home and an amazing life. I even own my owm business. We can recover and I promise it gets better if you work for it. It's not easy but YOU ARE WORTH IT. ♡♡♡ PLEASE DO NOT GIVE UP ON YOURSELF. YOU HAVE VALUE AND YOU ARE DESERVING OF MORE THEN THIS. ♡♡♡
Someone offered me one gummy bear at a party while I was on Vaca in Phoenix. I had never used a street drug. long ago drunk...no drugs...I figured that all that gummy bear had in it was cannibus..so I ate it..30 min. later I was Dead, with Holy Spirit,.. Heaven is A Natural Wonder on steroids..I wanted to stay there.. Holy Spirit said that I had Work to Do so he sent me back. the gummy was laced with FENTANYL....I was Dead , but got lucky, to come back. The hospital staff couldn't believe that I came back..they were gone...sheet over my head... the nurse said to me : what are you?? I said that I was a very dehydrated person who are one damn gummy bear!! One..gummy candy. FENTANYL is from the devil. Thank you God and Jesus for my life now!!

I carry Narcan with me at all times. I’ve had to use it on a family member in a panic state at one time. Thankfully being in the medical field for over 20 years you stay calm and do ur best to try and bring them back. Sad cause some don’t. This is a police office just doing her job.❤️
