A gal at a restaurant in Portland tried to pick up my plate with half a ribeye still on it, I stabbed the steak, & plate to the table, said I'm not done!!
I had a waiter reach for my plate once while I was still eating, I poked his hand with my fork. He laughed, and he got a good tip for being a good sport about it 🤣
The “arf arrf arrarrarrfff” was excellent. So, 30 years ago, I learned an easy trick to help me lose weight by chewing my food slower, like 15x per chews per bite slow, when I lost 50 lbs. Ever since then I’m always last to finish my plate, and I’m very used to a server asking if I’m done with my plate bc they want to take my plate. I can’t wait until one of my next servers tries to take my plate bc my “inner Rottie guard dog” will break out loud at the next server making a move towards my 🍽️ plate❣️🥺🐕
They won't do that... Because everyone knows id start eating off everyone's plates around me. Without hesitation.

happened to me once ..enjoying myself with family and good friends at Avery good Mexican restaurant...I'm a slow eater...but just after I ate my taco... as I was ready to eat my burrito...the gal came and cleared out table...it was a priceless, hilarious moment...couldn't fault the gal cause everyone else had eaten their meals...I laugh still...
