Oh maybe you should’ve said what books they were. We have a atmosphere where by books that are in fact, educational are being banned. Recently a school invited parents to read the books and discuss them at night and after that not one person objected to the books. This is not what we need in America. We need freedom and we need educationand critical, thinking not a bunch of morons like that mayor.
I found an adult romance book that talked about a girl loosing her virginity and other sexually related things that my daughter checked out at her school library. Thankfully, she didn’t get that far when I brought it to the school’s attention they said that they would monitor only her books that she checks out. Now I was unaware that they do not screen the books before they come in to make sure it’s appropriate for them. I do not believe that children under the age of 18 should be exposed to that type of book I talked to the librarian, said they would make sure to monitor what type of books only she checks out. I asked about what about the other students. She said other parents their children differently and may not have the same views. Now I would hope that all parents would have the same views of not letting their children read that type of adult content and shouldn’t be in our children’s school libraries. It honestly seemed like a slap in the face. It was disrespectful.

His order should have been toward the Superintendent, not the School Board. They are trustees, not administration. Unless there had been something brought for a vote, they may not have even known plus no judge would make that comment. That aside we can’t allow some of these books in the classroom
