it's not a colostomy bag. Her coffee is not reaching her stomach. She has an issue with her esophagus. She probably has a feeding tube for nutrition. It's probably the only way she can enjoy her coffee. We don't really know why she has this bag or can't drink her coffee like others, whether it's temporary or permanent. To me, this isn't disgusting at all, I think we should applaud her for being upfront and trying to live her life with as much quality she can put into it.

I'm literally stunned RN. I literally just found out I have to have surgery probably soon to more or less tie off my esophagus and they said I'll have a little idk button near my belly button where I will connect a tube for "feeds". I'm not being technical and I don't know much yet as far as specifics bc I'm just not ready to never eat again (even though I spent 30 years trying to figure out a way to do or not do exactly that!!) so look idk who this lady is or if it's completely real but I think it is a d I think she is beautiful and if nothing else it's given me just enough strength to start looking into this and weighing my options. I thought I was alone and even worse it was all my fault. Thank You at least I know I'm Not completely alone!! (whatever the reason, I guess it happens!!)💕

From the little bit of googling I did to find some info, she has esophageal CA & had an esophagectomy. She uses this bag strictly for taste & maybe some feeling of normalcy as well Her name is @lottakarlsson2. She seems to be a strong, beautiful woman in my opinion!!

I have been in health care for years. I have never seen a colostomy bag surgically there. it's f I really your stomach, intestines, not your throat. if it's not a spoof, then I would like to know why there.

I have been an RN for 32 years and NEVER have I heard of any stoma being placed over the sternum to redirect into a bag instead of the esophagus. This is not a real situation, just good use of AI or Photoshop in some way. Not sure what they are trying to achieve here but it's just wrong and not plausible.

when my Dad had his surgery for esophageal cancer, they ask him if he still wanted to drink. He said yes and they. did a transplanted esophagus!

Praying whatever this woman is going through, she is healed. My brother in law unfortunately passed last yr 10/6/24 with esophageal cancer it was so sad to watch him deteriorate when from a strong athletic healthy man to 100 lbs within 6 months. He had a colonoscopy bag for feeding in his stomach. Nothing much by mouth, the tumor sat directly in the middle of the esophagus, so nothing could pass. Chemo and radiation couldn't fix it. It spread quickly. He died peacefully at home. My sister is still grieving her husband he was good to her till death did them part. Rip bro
